The rabbits in the field were having a good day, munching on grass and chasing each other around. But then Death showed up, and the mood changed.
"What's up, bunnies?" Death said, his voice low and menacing.
The rabbits froze in terror. They had heard of Death, of course, but they never thought he would come for them.
"I've come to collect your souls," Death said, his bony fingers reaching out to grab the nearest rabbit.
But the rabbit was too quick, darting out of reach and making a run for it. The other rabbits followed suit, scampering across the field as Death chased them, his scythe flashing in the sun.
The rabbits were fast, but Death was relentless. He chased them through the grass, over rocks and fallen branches, never giving up. But the rabbits had a rabbit up their ass in their hat.
They led Death to the edge of the field, where a group of humans were having a picnic. The humans saw Death and freaked out. Some scattered in all directions, but most of them froze in horror. The rabbits took advantage of the chaos and disappeared into the woods, while Death was left standing there, scythe in hand, wondering what the hell just happened. He shook his head in disappointment, turning then to the statues of humans with sandwiches in hand. For the Time Being, Death decided to eat these humans and take momentary satisfaction. He then disappeared in a puff of smoke, off to find his next customer.
The rabbits in the woods breathed a sigh of relief, and then went back to their munching and chasing. They knew Death would be back someday, but for now, they were safe. And so, Death wandered the world, chasing rabbits and collecting souls, while the bunnies continued to fuck and multiply, frolicking in the fields, making the most of their short, sweet lives.
